I'm gonna buy it from Amazon probably tomorrow or Sunday.

My A streak will end with In Fear, one of the most disappointing movies I've ever seen.

I think the definition of any genre is put up to the viewer. Like thriller vs horror. I can't think of a concrete difference between the two, but I can sort of tell while watching the film itself. And then there's combinations of genres like horror-comedy. I think getting all offended because someone doesn't think American Psycho is a horror film isn't worth my time.
And I laughed so hard at that ending you put in there.

I was once cussed out on this forum for saying it wasn't a horror film and told I was too strict about my definition of horror movies and wasn't a genuine horror fan. So I pulled out my card...raised lettering, pale nimbus.

Why is that a "bold statement"? You're right; it's more of a black comedy, but I think it's intense enough at the end to be more than just a black comedy.
-
I've already seen it like 5 times, so I really don't care what genre it is.
-
I'm going to make a bold claim and see what your answer is after viewing: American Psycho is not a horror film.
