The Fallen Idol (1948)

Stuck
Stuart Gordon is an amazing director, his last few films King Of The Ants and Edmond really impressed me but this tops them. A very dark film and one of the best I've seen this year. If you dug Before The Devil Knows You're Dead this will be right up your alley. Masterful American cinema. Bad Boys
One of Sean Penn's best performances. This is a killer teen crime/prison flick that gets overlooked these days. Gritty, well written with a really great cast including Ally Sheedy. Rick Rosenthal directed Halloween II which is my personal favorite of the sequels. He also the directed worst (Halloween: Resurrection) but don't let that put you off.
