Picked up The Walking Dead Compendium 1. Haven't started it yet. About 3 inch thick book with issues 1-48 I think.

Preacher Volume 7: Salvation

Preacher Volume 8: All Hells a-coming

Hands down my favourite comic book series of all time. I'm crying right now because I can't find the final volume. Makes Watchmen look like shit (Not really but I need to exaggerate, that's how much I love this friggin' book).

I picked this up from the library last week and didn't realize how huge it was going to be. I don't think I'll be able to get through this one.

Incognito: Bad Influences.

I've been picking up Fatale as it comes out and got hooked on Brubaker's noir style writing. Ended up getting both Incognito trades, and would even read his Captain America, despite not being a huge fan of super heroes.

Also, Saga by Brian K Vaughan is superb. The first trade came out last week I think it was. Would recommend picking it up and getting caught up before the hiatus ends.

I'm going to get into Fatale soon. It looks like a good horror / detective story.

Before Watchmen: Minute Men # 4 - One of the best of the Before Watchmen titles - adds some interesting backstory to the old characters.

Began reading Scott Snyder's Severed, Vol. 1, on someone's recommendation (Fortunato?). Off to a great, cinematic start. The only horror comics I am used to are EC so this is a nice change of pace.

Glad you are liking it so far.

I am about to finish American Vampire, Volume #1. 4-part series which deals with the origins of vampirism and evolution of a new kind of vampire species in America, as narrated by an actress and a writer. Written by Scott Snyder and Stephen King in two equal parts, I am finding it a gripping read so far. A different take on the vampire mythos. Recommended.

Thanks! I really enjoyed Severed and was disappointed that it was only a limited run. I'll look into this next.
