I only watched the episode with JDM. Now I'll go back to ignoring the show. I agree, it's gone on too long. It should have ended 5-6 seasons ago. There's such a thing as "jumping the shark", and they've done it a few times over.

I've always thought it looked like a decent show. I've seen the first couple of episodes and yeah, seems watchable. Kind of like a better quality "Grimm".
I'm just kind of waiting on watching it. Too much stuff.
Though yeah I will say - it's run for a hell of a long time now. It's hard to believe that even for the die hard fans this wouldn't have fallen into the "background noise/time killer" category by now.

Yeah for like the first 5 seasons the show was one of the best on TV. I just checked the wiki and Season 5 is actually where I wish I stopped watching. I believe I watched an episode from season 8 and the tone was all off. More comedy and the show wasn't as dark or spooky as the early seasons.
I would still recommend people who haven't seen it before to watch those first 5 seasons and stop there. It was a really good show then. I think Grimm was pretty good too. I need to catch up of that one too. I stopped when another girl Grimm showed up. |
