Comes out on blu ray on Sept 24 one of the 'extras' include

"TV version footage - footage added in for the film’s TV airings."

I hope by this they mean that the TV one is included on the disc too.

Its been a long time since I seen it.

Kinda excited about this blu ray if so.

I love the tv version, lots more scenes with loomis which is always a good thing in my book.
think its the 30th anniversary dvd I have with both versions not sure if I'm gonna double dip...again ha ha

It's the UK steelbook vs the American Digibook for me. Still waiting on details.

There is definitely a reason why fans of horror keep coming back to this John Carpenter classic. It has the perfect atmosphere, the perfect final girl, and it paved the way for what could be expected in the following decade without once being out-shined. It's as close, in my opinion, to perfection as one can get in this genre.
