I did just watch House by the Cemetery. But that's a picture and not a painting in that one.

I'll take a look a this one later. Quick peek and it looks like it's by the same people that made that Lights Out short film. At least the actress and setup are familiar.

It is by David F Sandberg yes. He’s made some very effective shorts. Lights Out being the highlight of course.

I believe the short of Lights Out was better than the full movie. I think I reviewed it here or on HorrorDVDs.

He has some mad skills creating atmosphere and tension and besides that he’s incredibly creative when it comes to scares, which “Pictured” is a good example of.
