"B" Movies

For fans of low budget "B" movies, this is a fun site:

cool site, but I wouldn't call Metropolis, Carnival of Souls and Night of the Living Dead B-Movies:eek:

Carnival of Souls is definitely a B Movie. I'm not saying it's not a great movie- it definitely is- but it was shot on the cheap and played the drive-in circuit.

That is a VERY cool site. I like that you can watch all the films right on the site!

That is a VERY cool site. Thanks!

(My favorite films have almost always been B's ... which traditionally refers to the size of the budget and should not be interpreted as an aesthetic judgement. If you're talking about old Hollywood films, my impression is that the studio bosses interfered less with low-budget projects, so the work tended to be more interesting and idiosyncratic. This site does mix in some independent films and some foreign films -- like Nosferatu -- which does confuse the issue a bit. Still ... how wonderful to have access to them like this. Add more!)

thanks from Bmovies.com

Thanks Robert!! Glad you like the site. We are adding titles as fast as we can get them. We plan on adding 6-12 a week.

If you enjoy the site, you can help us out in 2 ways: 1. Please help spread the word. We are in hole and are paying out the wazoo for hosting right now, and we won't recoup until we get some advertising on the site. We won't get advertisers on the site until we have the traffic. 2. Post your top ten favorite bmovies or send them to us at the site. The link is in the very bottom paragraph on the front page. We have a long way to go, and a lot of movies to get. Knowing everyone's favorites will help us narrow our efforts.

Thanks!!
Ro-Man

Oops! Missed this earlier. (Been so busy. The high holiday, you know. Carving pumpkins, poisoning candy. Where does the time go?) Will do. All of it. Best of luck. It really is a great site.

Pretty prime stuff. I'm kinda surprised people like watching Gamera so much, though.
