Friday the 13th Dracula Homage.
 

I have a question. Has anyone ever heard Sean Cunningham say that he paid homage to Dracula in Friday the 13th?

I mean to refer to the Annie character arriving in the town of Crystal Lake, mentioning Camp Blood, being warned about going there, getting a lift only half way and getting picked up after that by an evil character.

It is much the same thing Johnathan Harker experienced. Being given the cross by the peasant woman, being taken only as far as the Borgo Pass and so on.

Anyone?
