The fact that it was silent and the excellent use of shadows, really made it very scary. But...... I am another one who rarely gets scared anymore, just knows what is scary. Seen horrors all my life! I WANT one to really scare me again like a little kid!

As far as older movies go, definately Nosferatu. Other than that-...Ringu scared the hell out of me as did two scenes from Dark Water...

Maybe.....But do you know what I dont get? Some gay critic said(and this on the back of itz box) the 28 Days Later is the scariest movie since the exorcist! Yeah Right! 28 Days Later could scare someone who is 28 days OLD

Scariest movie I ever saw was that documentary about the Trekkies. Absolutely horrifying. :eek:
