The remake isnt excatly for sure yet as far as i know.
anyways, i dont think the two will really clash that badly coming out at the same year. I, myself cannot get enough evil dead!

I'm just glad it has bruce campbell in it. Evil dead with out bruce campbell would be like aliens without ripley or halloween with out jamie lee curtis. ( and we all know how much halloween sucked with out her in it)

...I'd take this with a grrain of salt. Both Bruce and Sam have long denied that they were making this, and Bruce's site has nothing about it...plus the poster looks like it's fan made (Check out the Evil Dead logo...same as from the video game)

In all honesty, I dont even want an Evil Dead 4. As much as I love the trilogy, I think they should just leave it at that. Bring on My Name is Bruce, and move on!

C'mon, you know you'd all see a fourth one if ever it happens...
Personally, the poster looks "not quite right"...and nothing about it on Bruces site could mean either they're not making it, or for once, we'll have a nice surprise.
I wouldn't mind something that followed along a similar storyline to the "fistfull of boomstick" game (of course, slightly more complex), set after Ashes return to his time in the original cut of army of darkness...the world gets invaded, a modern day setting that's not just a cabin in the woods, I'd see that.

As for the remake, hell, I'd check it out just to know how it went...no hatred...I have to admit though, I prefer the "film without the Ash character" than the "replacement Ash" idea...maybe something more like a side story to the original, with elements that cross over or whatever...

whoa! evil dead 4 finally....this film is way overdue:p
