I'm really looking forward to this. Choosing to shoot in Australia was a great idea. Australia is a very isolated country, once you get away from the coast.

The film has already finished shooting, was directed by Kurt Wimmer (writer of the Total Recall and Point Break remakes).

IMDB is reporting the corn field scenes were filmed in Richmond, NSW, Australia, and that Gatlin, NE has been replaced for a town called Rylstone, NE.

And what makes you look forward to this remake again?

There has already been one remake of this not many years ago and that movie was shit. And now we get another remake made by a director of bad remakes. What is there to look forward to? That it’s shot in Australia? Well, woopdidoo!

You're foaming at the mouth again. Mind you, ive yet to see a decent remake of anything yet.

Not sure. Maybe I'm one of those "They gotta get it right THIS TIME" types.

I am a big fan of isolation films, so if anything is done right, I hope it's that.
