lol Thanks...Well, Arioch suggested them and I downloaded that and "The Thing I Hate" by Stabbing Westward. I like both, but I recognize "Shame", since it used to be very popular.

lol Nine Inch Nails is one of my favorite bands, Alice in Chains as well (used to have most of their CDs), and I've never heard any OPETH before, but I'll check that out now.

Right now though, I just got some TOOL remixes, "Stinkfist (Skinny Puppy remix)" and "46and2 (Shadow Remix)", which I'm listening to now. :D

Hey, what did you think about this cover Bloodrayne? I thought it was really well done, but after listening to it multiple times ive noticed that it doesnt sound like the "usual" SW, if you listen to it, and alot of this could be the songs fault, it really sounds a bit like the Cure....

The guitars arent they're usually distorted selfs, and he really doesnt sing in his usual voice either.

Overall i think its a bad ass cover, but i was wondering what you thought about it.


Im listening to Stabbing Westward - Sometimes it hurts (my fav song by them so far, i fucking LOVE that chorus melody, and the guitar bends in the verse.

I think that maybe you should listen to the guitar a bit more...I mean, you're right, it is a little more chord based than the others, but it's still good...Not everything can be done the way that YOU do it...You're all over the place...lol...Maybe sometimes people just want to take it easy a little..That would explain the difference in the singing, too...Don't you think that perhaps this one was supposed to be a little more "mellow"?...I also think that it's an extremely sweet song...and I'm really glad that you gave it to me;)

Hey i think you misunderstood my direction. I wasnt saying its NOT good, i was just noticing that it sounded a bit different from their usual sound. I mean, im sure alot of that has to due with the fact its not THEIR song, but i dunno. You think they were GOING for a slightly different feel?
