"The Rat" by The Walkmen

In my opinion this song would be fucking ideal for any horror movie scene! Especially a ridicously fast-paced one where a character has had it and starts going nuts. I'd like to know if you agree...

HaHa...That part made me think of Evil Dead 2

so...any thoughts on the song?

Good idea, I'll keep it in mind. I've seen the guys and know their manager.

~Chainsaw~ 02-02-2007 10:27 PM

wha? really?

which manager of theirs do you know? dawn barger, walter durkacz, or kevin french?

Roderick Usher 02-02-2007 10:49 PM

I know "Cali" DeWitt. He runs the label they're on and I though he was their manager. I'll have to ask him about that.

He was nanny for Francis Bean (and the last one to see Kurt alive)

wow! didn't cali dewitt try to sign the pre-Walkmen band Jonathan Fire*Eater to Geffen but they chose Dreamworks instead?

please ask him about that, like what type of stipulations did they ask to have? I heard they used to make ridiculous contract stipulations, like you have to pay for their manager's dental work and stuff like that...

Been a while since I've seen Cali, but I'll ask him next time he rolls around. He's like an eclipse - comes around rarely, but it's always memorable:)
