Trying to track down a film I've seen once
Hey guys,
I've come here asking for help identifying a horror film I've seen in the TV many years ago. Finding this flick has become somewhat of an obsession of mine recently, and I've been searching for it for weeks now. I hadn't watched the whole movie back then, only a few scenes, because frankly, I was a kid and got scared. Therefore, I don't remember much of it and so far I haven't been able to find anything. I thought perhaps you guys could help out.
I apologize if the details I remember are lacking, it was a long time ago and my brain seems to have blocked out most of it.
I recall the movie to be somewhat old, my guess is it's either a 70's or an 80's movie. There is one scene in particular that I recall, or at least part of it. The tone was perhaps Hellraiser-ish - "terror of pure evil" kind of thing. The scene took place in some kind of Hell-like place with a eye-catching reddish hue, and there was a tower or some sort of stone structure there. The camera showed the structure from the outside first, and then from the inside, and there was some kind of demon creature in it which I believe was the focus of the scene. I don't remember what it looked like or what it was doing, or anything else really, no matter how hard I try to.
I know this is a long shot, but does the scene I've described above ring a bell for anyone? I'd love to be able to check out this movie once again, and see what I've gotten myself into such a fuss over.
