I'm a long time horror movie fan with my absolute favourite Director being John Carpenter.

I'm lucky enough to be on the team for a forthcoming UK indie horror film from a very talented and upcoming director Raine McCormack and I just wanted to share the details with you so that you can have a look and hopefully support us.

This year’s indie hit from one of the UK’s newest upcoming directors, Raine McCormack, ‘Brian the Blessed’ will take you on a journey into the psyche of Brian, a stuttering, religious recluse in his forties.

After attending the funeral of his beloved Auntie Jean, Brian meets the much younger vicar’s daughter, Kathy. A whirlwind romance leads to a marriage proposal and a life together, running a make-shift shelter for the homeless.

However things take an unexpected turn when the first rough sleeper they choose to help attacks Kathy. In self-defence she stabs him to death. Motivated by the fear of separation and in a desperate attempt to hide the crime, the lovers cook and serve the corpse to the very people Brian has unconditionally helped for years. With a renewed, deranged sense of confidence and mounting family suspicions the couple are forced to protect their love ‘whatever it takes’.

It stars Ewen Mackintosh as Brian and Natasha Coppola-Shalom (Nic Cage's niece) as Kathy.
