Recommend 10 Movies
 

Not just horror - anything.

Not your "Top 10 of all Time" or anything...
I suppose you can if you want, but this is a very painful task in my experience.

I'd just like each of us to recommend 10 movies they've seen at some point in their life, with no specific intend other than to share movies that over time, people should check out

Then, we're open to discuss our choices or other suggestions, or not.
After that - if you've got another 10 lined up - have at it.

La La Land - more than a 'musical', inspiring
Bob Roberts - in case you missed it first time around. very funny, sharp, and good music
The Prestige - quite a journey
John Dies at the End - very sharp, especially first half
Bogus Journey - lots of fun
The Great Dictator - worth one watch
Reds - one of a kind epic journey
An Honest Liar (2014) - fun doc exposing fake psychic powers
Unacknowledged (2017) - jaw dropping, challenging, but a bit depressing.

Re-cycle - never heard of it. how would you describe it? - (As an epic surreal fantasy/horror from Thailand)

Dark Remains - don't know this one. how would you describe it? - (As an atmospheric ghost b-movie with some good scares)

Salems Lot (1979) - never saw it. checked it out from library and it was defective. I think it's a little tougher to plan on the extra time to see it. What is it, like 4 hours? - (3 hours. With the first hour taking its time introducing the characters and building up tension)

The Protector (thai) - never heard of it - (Tony Jaa)

The Wraith is a film from 1987 with cool race cars and race scenes, good music and a supernatural revenge element.

A Simple Plan is a 1998 film that stars Bill Paxton. A man and his brother discover a small plane that has crashed in the wintery wilderness. They discover a bag full of money and a horrific story unfolds as the two brothers decide to keep the money and not report the crashed plane.

oh yeah, I remember that description, I always wanted to see that. Thanks for the rec. I like those kind of movies, in the wilderness, isolated, tough decisions.
