Horror movie suggestions!? PLEASE HELP!!

Hi,

I am a huge horror fan but seem to be struggling to find a good movie to watch. I've seen all of the classics and am now trying to work my way through later releases (which at times means watching some absolute rubbish).

Any suggestions would be hugely appreciated. I'm a huge fan of haunted house movies or paranormal films, if that helps!

Thanks in advance!!

Welcome to board, Nightmares! When you say "I've seen all of the classics and am now trying to work my way through later releases", approximately what date is the cut-off of 'seeing all the classics'? 1960? 2019?

Not a lot haunted house films, but tons of paranormal. The Conjuring, Ouija: Origin of Evil (2016), Dead Silence. Other nonparanormal: Vacancy, Hush.

No I haven’t! I’ll give that a try. Thanks for the suggestion!

Well I guess I mean all of the classics up to now really! I’ve seen all of those but vacancy, so I’ll give that a try! Thanks a lot!

Oh and in answer to your second question ‘what type of horror do you like’, I enjoy anything supernatural/paranormal!

I’ve just started watching a movie called ‘Saint Maud’. It’s looking good so far!

Hi Nightmares! We watched one not too long ago, The Dark and the Wicked. It was really good, and very creepy.

Also, if you haven't seen Hereditary, it's excellent.

There's a sci-fi flavoured thriller called Coherence. Not so much horror but a fun, compelling story. Normally I can't stand sci fi anything but I loved this one, you should check it out!

How could I forget Pumpkinhead? 80's horror with a gothic feel, that still holds up.

Wow, the screenname “Nightmares” wasn’t taken?
