Asked for New Moderators
 

Just sent my 3rd email to ElGato and horror both (first 2 were sent on March 21st, 2012 and on June 01st, 2012, no reply to either of them so far) to make new moderators for the forum.

Hopefully they respond this time and we have the new Mods badged soon.

We do appreciate V that the fact no new mods have been appointed yet is not through your lack of trying, Fingers crossed the admins do get back to you and if any of them read this I would like to nominate Hammerfan, Chronogrl and Fortunato as mods I think they are fair minded enough to do the job honestly and without prejudice. As far as I know I believe the three of them have been trying to get responses from the admins as well so maybe finally something will get done about this.

LOL-here's hoping the admins will finally reply to the many PMs sent and get this issue sorted.

Pretty sure all of the above would be better than some of the past appointed "moderators" (e.g., kpro). Talk about inmates running the asylum...

Though this is definitely a bad idea for the forum as a whole but I have a feeling that may be they aren't responding to our demand for selecting some new mods is because they are seeing that the existing few one or two mod(s) still active on their duty & they are doing their jobs finely! I'm not sure how many mods are at least silently active now in this forum but If I'm not wrong then I guess at least V is alone doing all the mod duties for misplaced & spam posts etc. So there may be a chance if he stops playing his mod role then may be they'll "feel" to respond all those messages & emails that V & others sent them for the last couple of months. The question is whether we can afford to take this risk of NO RESPOND--NO MOD game as we're having a great contest like BR & Vampire movie tourney going on??!!!

I'm not sure they would respond even if all the mods left this site, I think it would just be left to die... Maybe it would get resurrected somewhere down the line in a different format, but I really don't think they care whether the forum is here or not. I think the more work they have to do on it, the less they want it, which is why they are so slow to respond to requests.

So mods get bigger PM boxes, right? Well I could certainly use that. I joined when horrorcrux was not even a twinkle in his daddy's eye. I have a lot of conversations I don't want to have to delete.
