David Cronenberg

he is my second favorite director, the first being Sam Raimi. all of his films aren't horror, but he sure makes some weird, interesting, sometimes horrifying movies. what do you guys think?

Spider, History of Violence, Scanners, The Brood, The Fly, The Dead Zone; I just love his stuff. One of my all time favorites of his, Dead Ringers, isn't even a horror but is just an amazing all around movie. Wasn't such a big fan of Crash though...

amazing Director. I love him. He's often compared to David Lynch. Naked lunch is my favorite film by him.

I'm one of those weirdos who actually liked Crash (a hell of a lot beter than that preachy Paul aggis shit of the same name) It seemed like the perfect melding of man and machine - which seems to be the most rpevelent theme in his work.

It's also very funny in a "look, I'm more perverse than you" kind of way.

I'd take Cronenberg's Crash over the new one any day. I just didn't like it as much as his other movies.

The Brood is one of my all-time favorite horror movies.

It's brilliant! Jump-scare and sickening horror thrown in a bag filled with a good psychological storyline and a well-picked cast...and all held together with another signature sci-fi backbone.

IMO, it's his finest work.
