Horror movie fans i need your help!!!!!!

I am studying A-Level media studies and I have chosen to build a case study on how horror movies are pushing the boundaries of censorship, how they are doing this, and why must they etc.

It would be really useful to my work if you could take a few minutes to complete my survey on horror movies, the link is https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/DKTJ3YR

thanks :)

Done and good luck with your project, it sounds interesting. The survey is pretty good although I found some of the options a bit closed, e.g. Question 7.

Enjoyed the survey, hope you earn an A.

You'll find more envelope pushing going on in horror literature than you will in films.

Lee, off the top of your head, is there any equivalents to the MPAA, of any sort (content ratings or censorship), in the book publishing industry? ...maybe as for children's books?

You need to reformat that survey, I tried answering No. 3 with "Other", and it refused, saying "This question requires an answer.", when I was giving my friggin' answer.

Nothing governs the publishing industry, as far as I know, not even children's books. There are various bodies, such as school boards, that will ban books from their domain, based on complaints, but that doesn't prevent the book from being published or sold.

About to do the survey, love the idea too. I did media at A level and loved it although gathering data for surveys is a bloody nightmare. Just refreshing to see a media student investigating an aspect of horror other than the objectifying of women.

I didn't really understand question 4. Seemed like a loaded question. I enjoyed it though. Good luck!

Unfortunately, I cannot complete your survey, Question #3 forces me to make a selection aside from just "Other" alone, when nothing scares me in horror movies, it's just cinema, fantasy. So unfortunately, I cannot take part though I would like to, I always try and support projects like this.
