Halloween
This reboot/sequel makes a fine addition to the series, with a good build up and a few good kills to boot. Fitting both the times and the overall canon.
Laurie Strode is written as a badass and Jamie Lee Curtis pulls it off very well. We get a "final confrontation" like in H20, though this one does not leave (obvious) sequel bait. Which is a nice change. In fact, the abrupt-ish ending kind of reminded me of the original Texas Chainsaw.
Good stuff. Looking forward to seeing Halloween Kills.
Ps: And they STILL did not revive Ben Tramer. Disappointed.
