A recent friend of mine presented me with this question, and it's bugging me, so I decided to make it bug a bunch of other horror know-most-of-its. There's an eighties British horror movie ( possibly British ) that contains this scene. A Caucasian male is walking down a stairwell, concrete walls on either side of him, handrail to his left. The shot is a long shot from behind , and the concrete walls give the impression that the entire stairwell is concrete. He reaches the bottom of the stairs, and finds, to the audience's shock, that the platform at the bottom of the stairs is not solid concrete, but a water ( or possibly acid or some other harmful substance ) trap. AHH! Down he goes.
That's all he could remember about the scene. Can anyone give me a helping hand about the film this could be from?
