Reservoir Dogs. This Tarantino classic again did not suck. This wicked little flick concerns the after effects of a botched crime. The beauty is that we really never get to see the crime itself, only the after effects, leaving the viewer drooling to see what happened. The dialogue was awesome, as is usual for Tarantino film, and the opening scene only draws the viewer in with one of the greatest diner scenes ever (Pulp Fiction rates up there with incredible diner scenes). The acting itself was strong, with Michael Madsen's psycho dance being wonderfully sick. Once you have been drawn in, instead of watching a movie, the viewer becomes ensconced within it until that supremely climactic ending. With great violence, intrigue, and paranoia, this magnificent Tarantino entry should be on every one's "see once a year" list. Merci beaucoup.
