[QUOTE=hammerfan;1046980]ABC - The Jackson Five

Absolutely LOVE this song!!!! !
Remember seeing them on a TV show when I was 8 (1970) and thinking how cool it was that a Kid had such presence. After I heard "The Love You Save" later that summer, it was all over. My Mom bought Me the ABC album and it certainly was a Life changing one; played it constantly, took it to my Third Grade class and still love it.
The J5 were my first concert...July 1971 at The Cow Palace in San Francisco CA with The Commodores and another performer-can't remember the name, remember she had an Aretha Franklin type sound. When the lights went down, I remember looking up and seeing nothing but backs, long hair and large afros. The show must have been stopped 5-6 times with people trying to rush the stage and after the last time, My Dad (who surely didn't want to go in the first place) decided it was time to leave. Did get a good look when We were leaving, at least.
Got ABC on CD in 1994 and showing the album to my daughter who after seeing the picture of Michael on the back-a Cute seemingly Happy Boy- asked Me "THAT's Michael Jackson??? What happened to Him" and Me trying to explain to a seven year old in a way she could understand. Heartbreaking how He ended up.
