El espinazo del diablo/The Devil's Horror (2001)

Ok for the noughties I thought I would go with a film that I know a lot of people have seen. It's a Spanish-Mexican gothic thriller/supernatural horror film directed by Guillermo del Toro, and written by del Toro, Antonio Trashorras and David Muñoz. It was independently produced by Pedro Almodóvar, and filmed in Madrid. Set in 1939 during the final year of The Spanish Civil War. A film you can watch more than once a notice things you hadn't previously noticed in other viewings.
