Now, IT I am a huge fan of. Loved the book and was incredibly disappointed in the mini series. My expectations are high for the new version, but I am very optimistic I won't be let down.

Says the long suffering and often disappointed Horror geek.
I dont tend to be disappointed. Im the kind of horror geek that can find the good in everything.

The Dark Tower move will play out as a semi sequel to the books. They built it so you dont have to know the story, but holy shit, the story is so freaking deep. You need to get into it. Just read the first book, its only like 250 pages. If your not hooked, then give up. But Im betting on you'll be hooked. It also helps that the Dark Tower ties together damn near every Stephen King book there is. It makes everything he has written that much more interesting because once you've been to the Tower, you find yourself looking for connections and finding them everywhere.
