'The Dark Eye'?
It's an adventure game for the PC, similar to
Myst. It's all done using stop frame animation and puppets. It's probably the best adaption of Poe work I've ever seen, including what I've seen in film. Very creepy game, but also extremely difficult to find. (*cough* emule *cough*)
Not very gamey per se, more like an interactive story or Poe museum. And it is old now, so don't expect high res graphics.
