anyone here watch supernatural ?

i know this will/should be shoved into the TV area of the forum but before it heads to that dead little corner - i was wondering if anyone else watches this show ?

I bought the 1st 3 seasons ages ago - and only just started watching it with my kid a couple of months ago.
we've since bought season 4 and are half way through that one.

my wife and kid really dig it. i have to admit that the idea of watching it is more fun than the actuality for me.

its nothing more than x-files meet the hardy boys.
it follows the x-files formuae to the nth degree. (to the point where they reference it several times)

i think ita all filmed in the same place as the x-files (BC, Canada) and employs many of the same actors.

occassionally i do get a kick out of Deans antics ...although i find the more subtle humor works better than the 'comedy episodes'

the 2 male archetypes are a little annoying and often chiches are used to develop character (the tough guy with a heart of gold, the sensitive guy with the dark side)

i know there are girls out there arguing over which one is cuter.

Stepdad watches it a lot and got me to check out a few episodes. I like the show a lot, especially the dark humor. Two episodes I've seen that really stand out are the episode that was like Groundhog Day (where one brother died at the end of the day every time) and another they didn't know who they were but both worked in the same office building. Some cool stuff on that show...

My youngest son is really into it. I watched a few when it first came out but wasn't bowled over by it.

Most of the other sections of this forum are dead because nobody posts there, and nobody posts there because they're dead...

It seems to me the solution to the problem is to actually post there.
