Is John Saul good?
I saw a few rows of his books at the used bookstore. What type of horror does he write about?

John Saul
I was given one of his books once, an I thought his writing was horrible. But I am picky. My brother is a writer and I grew up reading classic Lit.
Not that I am a big snob about it, but when you read good books it is just hard to go back to trash. |

generic. Almost as generic as Dean Koontz. Stick to Ed Lee and Jack Ketchum if you know what's good for you.

Criminally mediocre. At best.
