Is John Saul good?

I saw a few rows of his books at the used bookstore. What type of horror does he write about?

John Saul

I was given one of his books once, an I thought his writing was horrible. But I am picky. My brother is a writer and I grew up reading classic Lit.
Not that I am a big snob about it, but when you read good books it is just hard to go back to trash.

generic. Almost as generic as Dean Koontz. Stick to Ed Lee and Jack Ketchum if you know what's good for you.
