Vincent Price

Well, In my personal opinion, he is the best actor ever. In any genre, during any time period. But go to a different thread to discuss that.

While you may not thik as highly of him as I do, you cannot call yourself a horror movie fan, and not enjoy the eerie presence of Mr Price on screen. Which brings me to my point: What is your favorite Vincent Price movie? I havnt seen nearly as many as Id like, but here are what I thought of those Ive seen:

House on Haunted Hill: One of my all-time favorite movies, and, IMO, his second best performance.

The Bat: An enthralling mystery, with Mr Price as a possible murder suspect. Nothing spectacular, but a very good movie.

House of Wax: The melting scene is to this day one of my favorite scenes in any movie. Mr Price put on a great performance as the crippled, scarred sculptor.

Pit and the Pendulum: I watched this movie 2 nights ago, and it is now my favorite horror movie of all time. The scene where the untomb Elizibeth is one of the most terrifying things Ive seen, especially with Vincent screaming "True!". His best preformance, IMO

I believe I want some Micky D Fries.
Make them super-sixed.
I dream about'em every night and day.
Just dip'em in ketchup and eat away.
I see me runnin' through that open door.
Eating all the fries I can endure
Mmm... I love to eat those fries....

Oh, I also saw Edward Scissorhands, and I rented Thief and the Cobbler. Lol, yes, I am obsessed with him. The video stores here hardly have any that I really wanna see, so....I got desperate. ES was surprisingly good, kinda nice to see Vincent as something other than a villan (Yes, I do know theres more. As I said, video stores here suck).

I adore Vincent Price. He is the King of Macabre and by far my favorite actor of all time. When I was 3 years old, I saw the movie Invisible Man Returns. I told my grandma that I was going to marry him one day, but then he died. The day he died I cried for hours, and I still often cry when I think of that day. I grew such an attachment to him through his movies. I don't think anyone could ever fill his footsteps.

My Vincent Price top 10:

1. The Tingler
2. House of Wax
3. House on Haunted Hill
4. The Raven
5. Edward Scissorhands
6. Comedy of Terrors
7. Tower of London
8. Theatre of Blood
9. The Fly
10. Oblong Box
