Thumbs up Who else caught "Masters of Horror" on Chiller tonight?

For a few seconds I almost didn't care for it... then I snapped out of it and paid some attention.

So far I give this series 2 thumbs up. It a lot like Tales from the Crypt. It seems like both episodes I saw had a cool twist in it and had kind of a moral like ending, just like Tales from the Crypt.

If you have Chiller... watch a few episodes and report back here. I'd like to hear what everyone thought.

I caught the entire Masters Of Horror series on Showtime. Some episodes were fantastic others not so much, but I really enjoyed the series while it was running.

Not sure which episodes you've seen so far, but these were my favorites:

Incident On And Off A Mountain Road
Cigarette Burns
Sick Girl
The Washingtonians
The Screwfly Solution

I didn't but I've seen a few, and I've been watching them on Chiller, I missed Jenifer last night, but watch Dance of the Dead, I think there going to be showing all of them in order on Sunday's, if I'm right about Chiller showing them in order the next episodes should be Chocolate and Homecoming.

So far I've seen

Own:
Pelts

Rented:
Imprint
Cigarette Burns

Seen on Chiller:
Dance of the Dead
Incident on and off a Mountain Road
Dreams in the Witch-House

I have the feeling that Imprint will continue to not be shown on TV (except maybe with some serious editing).

Imprint is somewhat flawed, but worth seeing.

I was wondering where else they played these episodes. They were both VERY heavily censored. Sure wish I could've caught them on Showtime.

"No boobs, no cursing, makes Chris a dull boy" lol

Dance of the Dead was pretty good, and Jennifer was good too. They were just like Tales from the Crypt. You kinda knew the twist was coming up and what it was, and when it finally happened you felt smart because you figgered it out. ;) :D

All the episodes should be available on DVD in box sets or in individual episodes (I prefer the latter) so when you decide what you like you can buy what you want and see them in all their uncensored glory.

Good thinkin' Wickerfan.

Did anyone else catch that it was "Freddy Kreuger" aka Robert Englund that was the sideshow ring leader in Dance of the Dead? I thought that was pretty cool. I guess he's not a huge mega star, but his acting is pretty good. I don't think he's been in anything really big other than the original Freddy movies.

He's one creepy bastard for sure.
