1940's Horror movies?
I am working on a report for my American History class. I chose the topic of Movies made during the 1940s. I've seen a lot of films, but not as many as you hardcore movie vets. I would be eternally grateful if you could just name some movies off of the top of your head or post a link to a good website. I'd prefer if they were horror, but I guess my choices are kinda limited.
There's always Bambi...

THE LODGER and HANOVER SQUARE (both with Laird Craigar) are more thrillers than horror, but they are both quite well done films of the era.
