I absolutely love The Shining, but follow ups many years later are rarely worth it. Blade Runner 2049 being a rare example. Is Doctor Sleep worth a look?

I just saw "The Car: Road To Revenge," "Terrifier," and "Murder Mystery." The first one mentioned is the sequel to the 1977 horror classic, "The Car," which is actually interesting and cool looking with its share of awesome moments, despite not being as good as the original, and it shows a good tribute to the original film on its second half. It's definitely worth a look for at least one time. Fans of the original film will and have been reacting half and half to it, though, depending on who and what they were hoping for. "Terrifier" is a comedy horror showing good tribute to the classic horror films from the 1970s and 1980s, featuring Art The Clown doing his things in the big city this time, which is overall well done for a limited budget movie, and worth a look for fans of that genre. "Murder Mystery" is a comedy horror starring Adam Sandler, which is overall very funny, interesting, and entertaining, that keeps interest throughout the whole film. There are a lot of good twists and turns, making it appear as if the killer is one person, than having that person get it to where it has to be somebody else, and so on...

TUCKER AND DALE VS EVIL (2010). You may think this is going to be a WRONG TURN type of film at first, but stick with it and hopefully You'll enjoy it as much as Mrs FD and Me did. Extremely funny, credible story and pretty decent gore scenes. It's amazing what a little misunderstanding can do ***1/2

I TRAPPED THE DEVIL 2019
A man and his wife drop in unexpectedly at his brother's house on Christmas. They find him to be unstable and claiming he has a man locked in his basement. It was ok. One of those movies that are hard to make out because of the lighting. |
