Theres a reasonably priced boxset you should look into....it has 50 "classic" horror movies, sure theres alot of crap....but you deefinatly get some gems. Heres an ad for it:

Yah, I actually looked into this...does anyone know how the transfer is on this and whatnot...if it's good I'll buy it, I just dont wanna buy crap...so HOW'S THE TRANSFER?

Can't believe I forgot The Invisible Man.....that's a good one. Also there was a Tod Browning film called The Unknown with Lon Chaney (1927) and I believe Freaks was actually a remake of that one. It also shows up on TCM from time to time and is definitely worth a look. I really wish London After Midnight hadn't been lost. The make-up looks great on that one. I saw the TCM restoration (they put together stills of the film and aired it a couple of year's ago) and it was interesting. |
