Smile Five Scary Shorts

For the heck of it here's a list of five scary shorts that have helped me Usher in the Halloween spirit:

Pigeons From Hell by Robert E. Howard

The Father Thing by Philip K. Dick

Window by Bob Leman

The Mist by Stephen King (I know this more a short novel than a short story but it did make its first appearance in a horror anthology)

Nightmare At Twenty Thousand Feet by Richard Matheson

What scares you?
