I watched The Texas Chainsaw Massacre (remake) late last night. I liked it much more than when I waatched it the first time about 3 years ago on video.
I think I liked it more because I enjoyed the beginning when I saw it at the cinema recently. I think the remake would be even better at the cinema , so hopefully one day i'll get the chance. But how distracting is Jessica Biel, Running around in the tightest t-shirt and jeans, and all these camera angles from behind her and comeing up from the floor, showing us all the contours of her ass. They might as well have shown her tits at the start when they show the rope swing and the river.

I tend to lose faith in franchises past the second installment, but I was pleasantly surprised. The deaths did seem rather forced (I know, that's what you get with these flicks) but the concept of forgiveness as the overriding theme for a horror movie is a breath of fresh air...and I love a flick that examines the futility and destructive results of revenge.
