Nicholas Cage...in a remake of The Wickerman...that sounds terrible.
Here is one actor who rarely ever gets good films in which to explore his skill. But when he does -- I tell you -- it's something to savor. But Wickerman?! That's taking it a bit far...it takes a certain kind of character inherent in an actor to carry the role. There's not that many actors who can match the grace and charisma of Christopher Lee. I can't even call anyone to mind...can you? The Wickerman is timeless in itself. Why bother remaking it? |

I have never seen the original either, I bought it but I couldn't watch it. next they will remake Basketcase or CHUD

At least niether Freddie Prinze Junior nor Ahston Kutcher are in it. Cage is a great actor.
