^^ nah John Carpenter or the Goblin soundtracks would be sweet for a party. Shit it'd be a hell of a lot more interesting that the Murderdolls or some of the of the crap mentioned in here.
Go for the Return Of The Living Dead soundtrack especially if you can track down the picture disc version with samples from the movie. Perhaps one of those monster mash compilations (I'm pretty sure Rhino Records would've brought one out). I hate modern horror-punk. The Misfits and The Cramps were the only bands that did it any justice. All the newbie ones are just really shit imitators. Nekromantix and Calabrese are total horseshit....... |

Nekromantix isn't that new (first album being in the 80s) and their earlier stuff is fast as shit. They've got catchy tunes, and they can slap a bass pretty damn well. A lot of their lyrics are very creative. I'm sure you've heard their older stuff, and not just their newer shit on, say, the Punk-O-Rama comps...but I can't see your comment being relevant to their older stuff.

But Nekromantix? If you dont like them, thats a matter of opinion...but why lump them into the same category? Totally different style, IMO.

I see them as the imitators and don't like 'em. But whatever. Like the TV program was called.....

I'd play a bunch of random metal & industrial music.
