Hillside Cannibals = The Hills Have Eyes
666 The Child = The Omen
When A Killer Calls = When A Stranger Calls

And my personal favorite named knock-off:

Snakes On A Train = Snakes On A Plane
they all sucked anyway
but the hills have eyes was alrite

Not the point

These films have marketing plans before there is a script. Then it's up to an unlucky bastard of a screenwriter or director to try to flesh out something original giving the confines of writing a film within a pre-existing (rip-off) marketing plan.

or in their case ... lucky - to have work.

everyone seems to get their start in either music videos or horror movies.

oh, and i dont care if they are hving fun, blatantly derivitive work for profit isplagarism in my book , and i cant repect it, no matter how "silly" their motives are. Writing is hard work, and it sucks when someone steals your idea.

I was wondering if you'd ever notice that. I laughed my ass off when you posted that. I just had to use it as a quote in my signature.

I have actually started collecting these movies...So far they're pretty good (a little too much nudity for me, but still not bad)...I think they are going to become what Full Moon video used to be...And, yes they DO remake some already popular movies, but that's okay, more movies for me, and if I like a movie I don't mind having more of it...

I really wish I could find their version of War Of The Worlds...It actually looks very good...

So far, all that I have is:

King Of The Ants
Beast Of Bray Road
Dracula's Curse
Death Valley:Revenge Of Bloody Bill
Frankenstein Reborn
Lethal Eviction
Detour
Scarecrow
Scarecrow Slayer
Legion of the Dead (That one's pretty bad though...Mummies, not zombies)

I have a few more, but I don't remember them all right at the moment...I'll add them as I remember them (or see them around the house)

I'm considering getting Hide And Creep, too
