The ending! Not the very end (when he's older) but when he's still a kid (you probably know what i'm talking about) is the BEST ending I have ever seen.

i think you left out the passion. i know its not light hearted but saving private ryan, braveheart and unforgiven are very rewatchable. light hearted wise oldschool

well, as there isn't a movie genre specified as 'light hearted' i just put in oldschool as i thought anything that wasn't intense would qualify, but as it's your ball let me know the rules.

Hated it. It's the worst kind of sappy Hollywood sentimentality. 3/10 and that's just because of Duval and Caine - two fantstic actors who must've been given the old bait-and-switch on this one.
