That does look cool. I'll have to track that down.:)

Saw a great documentary called American Grindhouse about the history of American exploitation films. It's interesting to see that exploitation has been around since the invention of film itself.

Saw one recently on BBC4 called Dear Censor about the censors we've had in the UK over they years and how the BBFC has changed. It was based on archives recently released to the public.

News for people who can get the Horror Channel.

It's showing Video Nasties:Moral Panic, Censorship....
On November 4th 22:55pm (UK Time)

It's part of its banned November season. I can't wait to see the full uncut version of Island Of Death which the waste of money BBFC greenlighted September 2010.

Haha yeah no doubt! Got a copy of the follow Machete Maidens Unleashed to watch. It's made by the same folks and covers all the exploitation flicks made in the Philippines. Hopefully it's just as good although I've heard mixed reviews about it.

I didn't think much of that one. Really lightweight. The section on the early era was interesting but the rest was just to brief barely scratching the surface and offered nothing new or insightful. I guess it would be more suited to viewers who knew nothing at all about exploitation cinema but after the recent revival due to Grindhouse your average movie buff would be already familiar with the majority of what was mentioned.

Another high recommendation for this one. Very informative and well put-together.
