Just got pushed back to August/September release. But the good news it that it's being pushed because it's been testing so well that Anchor Bay is going to go back and color correct the film (there was an incident at the DI house that did the color and Adam has been pissed about it) so it should look freakin' great.

Color correction is done on all films to ensure an even tone from one reel of film to another. When editing, sometimes variables in lighing and filmstock can cause glaring differences from one shot to another, so a digital corection process evens everything out.

Apparently nothing looked the way Adam intended, but I still thought it looked cool. I can't wait to see it look even better.

I stumbled across the website for Hatchet last summer (looking for inspiration for my own website) and thought it and the movie looked great. I'm looking forward to seeing it. Louisiana swamps are spooky.
