The Burbs.

I remember seeing this one in theaters when I was young. I still love it. All of the characters are great. Especially Rumsfield. I don't think I realized a lot of the horror elements when I was younger. On the wiki it says that one of the homes was also The Munsters house. The music plays up the horror feel at times and many of the Klopeks seem to be horror character types that I still haven't clearly figured out yet. Not to be missed if you haven't seen it.

...on nice, grainy VHS.

Excellent little pacy thriller, and Jamie Lee looks great.

The Reeds

Interesting British film. Sure as hell beats all the freakin' remakes Hollywood has been cranking out.

Red Room- This movie is summed up with one big what the fuck! Super low budget film about 4 people brought together to play a "kings game" where they draw cards and have to do what the person who drew the kings card says, all with the chance to win 1 million dollars. The stuff that went on in this movie, while not as graphic as say "A Serbian Film" or "Subconscious Cruelty" was almost as disturbing. You start to find out more about each character and pretty early on how they are each connected. I have picked up Red Room 2 and will watch it tomorrow.

Dunno why it took me so long to see this as I wanted to watch it since it came out. Its a great 90's chopsocky Cop flick with Donnie Yen dropping his old school kung fu to try out some MMA moves this time around...

Interesting doc about Pop Artist, Mark Kostabi.

Chained (2012)

Though I didn't much like her earlier films (few that I saw, including Surveillance) but this one is I think better or more well treated effort from Jennifer Lynch. I liked it for its simplicity in the plot & Vincent D'Onofrio's kinda cold-child like menacing performance on the lead as a cab-driving serial killer. Nothing great but a decent film with a fine little twist at the end.

I am Bruce Lee (2011)

Loved those archive footage...Hollywood audition and His backyard training to James Coburn and Kareem Abdul Jabbar. Overall, a pretty decent documentary about the KING, mostly filled with little interviews of his friends, family & fans from different fields.

And...Tonight's Movie: Grave Encounters 2! Download complete, soon the show will begin;)
