So, I decided to lift my personal ban on the series and watch the original. I used my free rental space on VUDU and watched it. I was blown away, one of the best films in the mosern era, very original. I eventually saw the second film, but after that it was becoming less appealing, as I metioned. So, yes I have played the game and it was very impressive, I also bought the secind game and it was really good too.

Would you say the second game was better than the first or not as good? From the gameplay footage I watched, it seems a little better.

There were apects of it that made it easier to play, but I really liked the first one a great deal.

So you'd say the first game was better?

Yes, I would say the first was better, but the second one was good too.

Cool, I'll try it, sometime.

I know some of us did this before but how does everyone here rank the series in order of preference? I posted my ranking before (2, 1, 6, 5, 4, 7 and 3).

I definitely agree with 1, 2 and 6 as the top three. I'm still impressed with how surprisingly good the sixth one was. I remember thinking the series wouldn't get another entry as good as the first two for a long time, then low and behold the sixth came along to change that :)

Yeah I wasn't too keen on parts 3 and 4 as you know, 5 was a bit better but Part 6 was amazing the way all the pieces came together. I was properly thrilled by a Saw movie again and hadn't been since the sequel :)

Definitely. 6 was one of those movies that turned out a lot better than it had any right to. I still feel had it been the final film it'd be a very high note to end the series on.
