While we're talking movies, I'm gonna jump into the future for a lil' bit, and let you guys know what I intend to watch soon:
An jap. animated film done in 2004 called
"APPLE SEED"
I've been enjoying a lot of animated films lately, so when something of that nature becomes available to me through certain means, I have a look at it.
I checked out IMDB for some info on this film, but saw that there's also a 1988 animated film of the same name...does anybody here know anything about EITHER of them???


Still want some info on "castle of cagliostro" too...

Damn fine indeed! Blows away many conventions of the Western and messes wonderfully with the viewers expectations.
Nice looking transfer on the R2 DVD as well.

I love that the main character totally fucks the people over at first, too. Given who he turned out to be, it makes perfect sense. Rape some of the women, make the midget the mayor and sherrif, piss on their "hospitality" while taking advantage of it, and then save all their asses and make them look like fools.
