 The Shrine I.M.D.B. Two female journalists and a photographer travel to Europe to investigate a series of mysterious disappearances, only to find themselves embroiled in a struggle against a kind of evil they never expected. Some awkward acting in this one. The main character, Cindy Sampson, was not great. It was as though she was trying to deliver her lines as quickly as possible. The movie was mildly entertaining, some good gore in places, the premise wasn't great, although it was competently shot. Not recommended. GORE Some brief, but well done moments. OVERALL Not recommended 5.5/10 NUDITY Brief side boob at the start.

Horrors of Spider Island.
What a low budgeted piece of crap! The spider was stupid looking! It looked like one of those giant wire spiders you can get at big lots. The spider man monster or whatever the hell it was supposed to be, looked like a guy with two pointy teeth and a lot of facial hair. And on a scale of 0 to 0... 0/0

 Session 9 (2001) I.M.D.B. Tensions rise within an asbestos cleaning crew as they work in an abandoned mental hospital with a horrific past that seems to be coming back. A good movie with suspense, dread, a heavy dose of creepiness and mystery, with great performances, especially from the always brilliant Peter Mullan. I felt that the mystery and the build-up didn't pay off in the way the location implied it would, which left me feeling a bit let down, but overall a very good movie. Recommended. 8/10
