Regarding "The Devil's Rejects..."

I saw a preview for this (Rob Zombie's upcoming flick), but I don't know if it's the sequel to "House of 1,000" or if it's a totally seperate film with a lot of the same actors, ala Tarantino.

Little help here.

EDIT: Aww shit. I guess this should be in "Upcoming Movies." My bad. Mods...please delete after I get an answer :D

It is supposed to be a sequel, but from what I understand it could stand on it's own. Kind of like Kill Bill Vol. 1 and Vol. 2.

I agree. There have been several threads on this, but the subject keeps getting swayed off course.

The sequel will lose some actors from the first and also gain quite a few new ones. Good ones too

I loved the first one and can't wait for the second one!!! Did you notice how different Otis looks though?!?!?!? I mean just with that beard he looks so much older. Plus I heard that it is only those three characters for the majority of the movie...I know where the others are but I don't want to say..but i agree with you all that it would seem to be it's own film. Mainly due to the fact that it isn't House of 1000 Corpses 2: The Devlis Rejects, but simply The Devils Rejects.

I thought the first 1000 corpses was great, and as long as Sheri Moon is in the next one.... I couldnt care if it's not as good.
