Horror Movie Recommendation.

First id like to say that im aware that this is a frequently asked question and that some people may find my request frustrating, but i tried several different horror movie forums and i didnt recieve any reasonable replies so im hoping to get a proper answer here. Im looking for some good horror movies, doesnt mather if they are french, spanish, japanesse w/e. I just want the movie to have a good plot and/or frightening moments.

The genre is really way to deep and varied to start listing all the films worth watching. Check out the various HDC top 100 threads for inspiration and like missmacabre says, you wont go far wrong with the HDC recommends thread either.

Also I see you haven't included Suspiria or any other movies by Dario Argento on your list. My personal favourite of his, and a good starting point for the genre is Profondo Rosso (Deep Red). Great little Giallo film with plot and good gore.

@missmacabre - thanks for the movie, ill definetly watch Suspiria and later on ill see all of Dario Argento's movies, i saw a few trailers of his movies and i must say that i am quite impressed. To the other people which replied, thanks for the help, i missed some realy helpfull threads but i found them. I appreaciate the help.
