I can’t find any modern horror I like

I grew up a horror fan. Loved the Friday the 13ths, Texas chainsaw massacre, the exorcist, etc. I even liked a lot of 90s horror like scream and the Blair witch, but I can’t think of one movie I’ve loved since 2010. I know they’re out there but I got really turned off when cgi came about and kind of stopped watching.

There are two horror movies I’ve seen in the last ten years or so that I remember liking but I can’t even remember the names. I just watched the invitation and it was decent. I loved the 28 days later movies and house of 1000 corpses but that’s around the time I slowed down horror binging.

I guess I want something with an older feel. Maybe a campy slasher. Anything I need to know about? I’ve looked around the forum but none of these movies are jumping out at me.

The Signal (2007...a bit earlier) or Severance (2006)
Older feel...Terrifier/AHE?
ATM?

Found (2012) and Almost Human (2013) were both great mixes of 80s style and modern horror.

Wasn’t this on Netflix? I swear I saw it there but can’t find it now.

Also I’ve scrolled by All the boys love Mandy lane and thought it looked familiar. I started watching it and I definitely watched it when it came out. This is my style movie, kinda “happy birthday to me”ish, haven’t gotten to the ending yet and I don’t remember how it plays out.

It Follows was on a Premium Channel last I checked. We'll see what horror movies go up on those channels in the next week or so. I don't use Netflix yet but I will eventually. I saw some good horror movies and shows in their recent teaser trailer.
