I was never a big fan of the original Candyman. But I agree; you can't have the film without Tony Todd.
Then again... Hate to say it, but I wonder if I'd like the remake better... |

So far, the only remake of any movie I've enjoyed, was The Hills Have Eyes. The original wasn't all that, though.

I feel the same way about both of those movies, actually.
Also, honestly, I liked the remake of The Grudge better than the original. I felt as though Takashi Shimizu took the opportunity to give his film some much-needed editing. |

I agree.. I thought TCM was a great remake.. I watched the original when I was young and it scared the shit out of me and the remake did very much the same...

This is so incredibly stupid. "Candyman" is not even 20 years old yet and they want to do a remake. Hollywood has totally run out of ideas.

No they just don't want to spend money on new boring scripts when they can use old just as boring scripts... it is quite genious actually.
